This team brings a variety of knowledge and expertise to the project. Their collective experience spans archiving and documentation, water heritage research, and sustainable approaches to design and preservation. 

Carlien's accomplishments include organising and speaking at international forums such as the 10th World Water Forum and the UN 2023 Water Conference, where she established partnerships with the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources of Ghana. She also serves as an editor for "Blue Papers," a water-focused journal supported by the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management in collaboration with Waternet and others. John and Carlien curated the Case Trieste, a multi-media, multi-installation entry for the "Water Cities" exhibition at Nieuwe Institute, and also coordinate courses and design studios at the Delft University of Technology. John was responsible for the talk series “Sourcery: Archives in the Spotlight” which appraised diverse archival initiatives. While Phoebus Panigyrakis brings expertise from the field of architectural media, Open Science platforms, and Citizen Science engagement projects. Their collective passion for addressing water challenges in urbanising contexts unites their efforts in the .NZLZ archival project.
